“This is how I love You
Giving as I’ve received
To care for the poor
To free the oppressed
To stand for the orphan
To bless the widow
If I have not love
Then I truly have
Nothing at all
Here now is love
The love You have shown
And to love I must echo
The love I have known
So I will be faithful…”

Proverbs 4:23

Learning this as of late:

“Be careful how you think;
your life is shaped by your thoughts.”
Proverbs 4:23

Hmmm...God understood this even before psychologists :)

Children

“And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”- Matthew 18:3

I know I have blogged a bunch about ProjectR12 but lately it has just really hit home for me. I love kids- being with them, interacting with them, watching them interact with each other, how they love absolutely anyone and everyone and how happy they are, naturally. I am so proud and semi jealous of my friend, Tara, she gets to hang out with these cutie pies all day long. I wish I could get to know them, make them happy or make their days a little brighter as she is doing. It is pouring rain here in Kailua, about midnight, and I have just committed to putting a child through boarding school for a year which will include an education, shelter and food. My heart is overwhelmed with nothing but joy to grow in relationship with this little person. I imagine this is a tiny percentage of what adoptive parents feel.

I pray you will get to feel this joy too :)

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. -Matthew 6:21

Help expose the heroic Christians
around the world
who are helping their struggling communities.
So proud of my friend, Tara and her non-profit, Project R12.
